Event Details

Scottish Drugs Forum, in partnership with The Drug Deaths Task Force’s sub-group on Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), is delighted to invite you to participate at a free conference to review draft service standards for MAT in Scotland.

The aim of the MAT group is to define Scotland standards for the delivery of ‘no barrier’ medication assisted treatment (MAT), and to help partners achieve it through a quality improvement approach.

This event will focus on how to achieve the standards.

Participants will:

  • Discuss and map out the challenges, solutions and support needed for successful implementation of each standard
  • Learn from clinicians across Scotland about innovative practice including same day prescribing, caseload management and methods to promote retention in care.
  • Network with multidisciplinary/agency colleagues from across Scotland as part of a process to develop regional and national learning communities

Due to the event being free and the number of places limited, the event will likely be over-subscribed. It is therefore essential to apply as soon as possible.

We will seek to ensure that stakeholders from each area of Scotland are fairly represented.

SDF will consider applications and confirm places by the 9th of March  2020.
