Event Details

The Scottish Parliament are proposing changes to the disclosure system in Scotland, making it fairer and strengthening safeguarding. These proposals include a mandatory PVG Scheme, a more proportionate system and a reduction in the number of disclosure products. In addition, it is proposed that childhood convictions will no longer be automatically disclosed and will be eligible for independent review. A copy of the bill can be found on the Scottish Parliament website.

Disclosure Scotland are keen to work with our stakeholders to inform and further engage with you on how best to deliver the Disclosure (Scotland) Bill. They are holding a series of events in July and August 2019. Contact the Customer Engagement Team at dsworkshop@disclosurescotland.gov.scot for more info.
