Event Details

The East Ayrshire Violence against Women Partnership is pleased to offer the above selection of multi agency violence against women learning events and seminars for Autumn 2019.  These are primarily designed for staff from multi partner agencies/bodies. The target audience includes frontline staff, team leaders and managers from the East Ayrshire area including; Council Service Departments, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, Police Scotland, Scottish Reporters Procurator Fiscal Office, Prison Services, Schools, Further Education Colleges, Youth, Childcare Criminal Justice, Third Sector  and Independent Sector Organisations.

Please note applicants must be nominated by their Line Manager or equivalent.  All participants will be required to complete a pre and post course evaluation complimented by a learning contract to ensure learning is embedded into working practices, cascaded to colleagues post participation and informs future learning and development provision.

 

 

Cancellations / Non Attendance

Where a delegate is unable to attend, they should give as much notice as possible as there are is usually a waiting list in operation for these courses and events. Please Note: If a Social Work member of staff is unable to attend on the day, they should inform or have their manager contact East Ayrshire Women’s Aid and will be asked the reason for non-attendance and this will be recorded.

 

Catering/Refreshments: Half day: tea and coffee only are provided at breaks although participants are welcome to bring refreshments along.  For full day sessions Candidates are expected to purchase their own lunch.  Depending on the venue packed lunches may be most appropriate due to limited local facilities.
