This seminar is supported by Brodies LLP and will be led by Tam Baillie, former Scotland Commissioner for Children and Young People.  It will focus on:

  • What Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are,
  • How ACEs impact on children’s rights
  • What the UNCRC says about ACEs
  • How you can improve policy/practice in relation to children’s rights and
  • What role early intervention has in reducing ACEs

The seminar is suitable for anyone responsible for children and young people.  This can be carers, staff responsible for the delivery of services to children and families, managers responsible for allocating resources for children and young people, policy makers at all levels and senior managers directing policy and resources.
