Community Justice Ayrshire, the community justice partnership for this area, is made up of a group of statutory partners, as defined within the Community Justice (Scotland) Act 2016, and a group of non- statutory partners, as agreed locally by the partnership. The partnership operates within the context of Community Planning Partnerships, reporting to each of the three Ayrshire Community Planning Partnership Boards.

The legislation requires that we develop a Community Justice Outcomes Improvement Plan (CJOIP). Under this legislation, the CJOIP must also take account of the Local Outcomes Improvement Plan (LOIP) being developed by the local community planning partnerships.

A set of Operating Arrangements has also been developed.

Community Justice Ayrshire reports to the Boards of all three Ayrshire Community Planning Partnerships on a six-monthly basis.

An Annual Report is also compiled and published.
