Families Outside is the only national charity in Scotland that works solely to support the families of people affected by imprisonment. Their purpose is to improve outcomes for children and families affected by imprisonment so they can live healthy, active lives free from stigma and impediment.
This year they reached and supported families and professionals in every local authority in Scotland. Their focus on direct support, training, and development of policy and practice ensures that children and families affected by imprisonment benefit from the work of Families Outside both immediately and in the longer term.
